  What is “The Watkins Way”?

 

I decided in the summer of 2007 that I needed to do something different, something that let clients know what was unique about working with me.  The housing market had been booming, and there were over 2,0000 agents in the Wichita area making it hard to distinguish one from another.  I put myself in your shoes and asked “What would be important to me?”  I consulted with current and previous clients, other respected and successful realtors, and a marketing professional on branding.  From these conversations, I was able to put my philosophy as a realtor, my needs as a wife and mother, my concerns for making the right financial choices, and most importantly my need to be treated well as a consumer into words.  This way of thinking and conducting business became “The Watkins Way”.

    My approach to meeting your real estate needs focuses on a results-oriented approach to your experience.  I will spend time with you attentively listening to your unique needs .  As a wife, mother, and active member of this community, I have a clear understanding of the various roles you play and the various solutions to meeting the demands of those roles. I appreciate how important your time is, how important making the right choices can be, and the financial impact on your family the wrong choice can have.  I understand that this is a process and I see my role as a facilitator to help you through this process.  It can be fun and exciting, or it can be tedious and miserable—what makes the difference is your realtor.  I also understand the importance of developing a strong and trusting relationship with your realtor, and I strive to earn and keep your trust with open communication and full disclosure.  Through this relationship built on trust and communication, I will deliver on my promise to meet your goals.

   

I am dedicated to providing exceptional service to my clients.  I have tried the "sales team" approach and found it was too easy for me to loose personal contact with my clients. Often when I take over a listing that was once had by a "team" the home owners tell me they felt like they were just a number. THAT is not The Watkins Way! Although I am a single selling agent I do have an amazing support staff that does all of my 'non license' stuff such as a professional photographer & a receptionist to answer incoming calls, set my appointments, manage my calendar and call agents for feedback after showings. This frees me up to do what I do best ~Sale houses!
